Chonkanyanukoon School

Chonkanyanukoon School is a state school in Thailand. It generally admits only female junior high school students The school is located at 41 Namnaknum Road, Tumbon Bang Place Soi, Amphoe Mueang Chonburi in Chon Buri.

         The school was founded at Bang Pra Soy, Muang Chonburi, Chon Buri, Thailand in 1915 - 1917 by Praya Prasaisuradach who was the Governor of Chonburi Province. (This building now houses Anubanchonburi School). The first Chonkanyanukoon School admitted male and female secondary students (mathayom 1-3, equivalent to grade 7-9). Then, the Ministry of Education decided to separate girl and boy students into different schools. Because there was insufficient space, the school had to separate its premises into two parts
